Hi, I have a Powermax 155 Boiler. When it starts first the fan runs without any noise. after about 10 seconds, the boiler fires, and at that point the noise starts. the noise is very loud on the the Air Inlet Pipe. From outside my property I could hear the noise from the Flue Terminal Assemly Box (Balanced flue). the boiler is on timer mode. the noise is worse in the morning (the first firing after bing off overnight). I suspect the fan, but if so why the fan doesn't make any noise for the first 10 seconds as the boiler starts?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

I assume this is a twin pipe flue, in which these could prove dangerous, as this boiler itself could be, I always suggest getting the manufacturers out to check/inspect these boilers.
