Recently my boiler has got very noisey when the heating temp of the boiler is high, ie large flames and when demanding hot water, initially we thought it was the fan not up to the job, this was replaced and all seemed fine for a couple of days now it's started again, but only when needing heating and hot water together.

Could this perhaps be trapped air kettling in the boiler???

Any ideas?

its probabaly kettling on max. you cant have heating and water on at the same time.

the heat exchangers on these are prone to blocking up as is the tee piece above the pump. both will lead to lots of noise on heavy demand.
