Baxi bahama 100 combi boiler making noise and was loosing pressure. Called an engineer he recharged the expansion vessel pump. At the moment the pressure is steady at 1.2. It makes noise when I put the central heating on. Engineer said its Ketling don't understand what that is, sugested to put new expansion vessel and then power flush.

Please help will this solve noise problems?

Kettling is caused by hot spot in the heat exchanger due to sludge or scale deposits. A new expansion vessel will not cure this problem & power flushing may cause more harm than good with you appliance as it will block the domestic hot water heat exchanger.
