Noisy Mixer Tap

When I turn the cold on on a monobloc mixer tap,why does it make a loud vibrating type of noise and how can this be cured?

Try turning down the isolating valve a little

Might be worth checking your pipework, especially if you have changed over from separate cold & hot feeds, your cold water is now having to compete passing through to your tap with your hot feed, maybe experiencing a little water hammer, ensure your pipework is securely pinned/fastened..
