Noisy processor

Cheers Jim, not quite the right one though. I need the taller style of heatsinks so it is in the airflow of my one-and-only fan (which is mounted where most people mount an exhaust fan, but instead blows inwards).

Ideally I want this one which IS available, but unusually it doesn't fit Athlon XP and I can't really justify the shelling out for an Athlon 64 right now (especially seeing as Windows XP 64-bit isn't available yet) :cry:

I think it is quite a new heatsink, and my experience of Thermaltake products is that they take quite a while before they give the shops any stock!
 
Just to let you good guys know I put 3 new fans in and can't believe the difference. Not perfectly silent of course but cant hear it outside office, problem now is I can detect little humming noises , vibrations etc and can hear the hard drive crunching away guess all these noises were masked by whinning fans before.
I got the bug to do better now ha ha.
