Hi guys, been reading a fair bit on here and hope you can sort out my problem.
I have a potterton suprima 60 boiler about 10 years old. It make a terrible noise when running that seems to be kettling. I have tried boiler silencer and fernox heavy duty cleaner and it made a slight difference but the noice came back just as bad.
I was wondering if I should try some DS3 and just run it on the hot water side to try and clear the boiler scale or would it be worth using DS40??
I read on here that DS3 is pretty weak !!
The rads in the house never seem that hot so I think they could do with a good clean as well. The pipe work in the house is pretty old as it used to have a back boiler fitted to it befor we got the suprima fitted.Would DS40 be to strong and lead to leaks ?
