Hi.
I moved into a first floor maisonette about 8 months ago. Whenever I put the basin or bath taps on, there is an awful noise. I have the bathstore contour range mixer taps. It also happens when the downstairs residents flush their toilet* or have a bath etc.
Whenever I use the tap in the kitchen, there isn't any noise (bliss.) I know that I share a water tank with the people below. Can anyone give me any ideas of what it could be?
Also, I had a new kitchen installed and the water pressure is great, but in the bathroom (especially the shower attachment,) it's really low. Could the problems be interlinked?
Mnay thanks for reading, I'm a newbie round these parts
*The toilet noise was far worse when I moved in. It just so happened that a plumber I was using identified the problem inside the toilet - something to do with a ball vibrating
