I have a couple of taps in the house of the type - you press them down and they run for about 10-15 seconds - you know the sort of thing you find in a public place like a cinema

However - the hot one has started to stick on - has anyone got any pointers?

Lost the handbook during install - was thinking maybe I should just put a larger/stronger spring in? :?

I would start by stripping it down and checking that it isn't gunged up.It may benefit from a clean and a drop of WD40. It could also just be due for a new washer because if it has perished it may be rubbing on the insides causing it to stick.

yeah - stripped it down

there was some dirt in there - although a very small amount

washed it out

works ok now
