I've just got myself a new Google Mail email, I have also downloaded Gmail Notifier, following its installation this login box appeared,

I presume this is asking for my new Google email address and Password. However, after loging in using my Google address it doesn't seem to work ie I don't get a pop up from the task bar when I get a new mail or will it only work when I haven't got the internet running?
