hello
a friend wants me to put oak flooring on top of her existing, but counterwise to the present.
There are no hidden pipes or cables I\\\'m assured and she wants the extra thickness to create a warmer room because there is a large
space under the floor, approx 2feet hence the absence of cables etc.
I don\\\'t feel happy about it but she insists
it will be ok.
advise please, and would you advise puting some kind of insulating material
between ?
cheers
Oaknut

I can't see there being a problem by doing it like that and it may be worth putting a layer of laminate flooring underlay on between the two skins.
