Oak Skirting Boards

Hi guys - this is my first post so forgive me if this has already been done to death! I live in the wilds of Worcestershire and I am restoring a house there - as part of that I am looking to install good quality 9 inch oak skirting board - I have been looking at a few websites and I just wondered what experience (good or bad) people had of buying oak skirting online?
