I have a large kitchen floor with beautiful Porcelanosa floor tiles. I have done a bit of DIY so that I now need just a few more of these tiles to complete the new area. I found an original box with a few new tiles - they are 315mm square Madison Marfil. Is there any shop in Britain (or even Europe!) who specialises in obsolete tiles? Otherwise I will have to change the whole lot and that would be a great shame. I only need a box of ten but all my Google searches have drawn a blank -(the Porcelanosa UK agents can't help either). Any help would be very much appreciated.

Did anyone ever get back to you about the porcelanosa tiles you were looking for? I am in a similar position, and would be grateful for any clues you can give me to help me track them down!

Sadly no - and all the dealers of Porcelanosa tiles came from that unique category - "Please don't mix me up with someone who does give a toss.....". Not one reply from the manufacturers (or anyone else for that matter), so all I can do is wish you good luck.

thats the problem with tiles wall paper and "cabinets" (seen it on "how its made") they will make a batch of something then thats it, no more.

ok, so they will make a very big batch, and if popular maybe another batch

as styles and patterns change there is no longer any money in the old style so they "move on"

again from a business POV what is the point of keeping a ware house full of "old styles" (of anything) hoping some one will one day buy some? (when they have say a few thousand tiles of pattern x.
yes they can name thier price becuse its "rare" but if its too much they are stuck with them

yes reclemation yards have old junk and make money from it, but they dont have thousands of any one same thing

moral of this post: always buy more than you need and keep the ones that are too many..............you never know.

(if it helps we have a bath they no longer make the bath panel for  )

I'm afraid madison marfil hasn't been in production for a LONG while. in fairness to the dealers you have contacted even if they did have some 'lying around' the chances of them being the same shade are tiny, and a different shade may as well be a different tile as looks go.

the only advice i'd offer if your on a budget is to avoid porcelanosa, they are on the expensive side. also you can tile over the old tiles so that saves you the cost + hassle of digging them up.
