I have a problem with my Ocean Style FF boiler it will not fire.

A bit of history about this boiler it is used to heat a pond and the drawn hot water side of this boiler is not used. The dhw pipework is filled and shut off. It has worked OK like this for nearly 10 years.

The boiler looses pressure slowly so every 6-8 weeks I top the heating circuit up.

Today however I opened the valve for the dhw circuit accidently and a small amount of water re-pressuriesed the dhw cricuit. Since this the boiler pump will not run and hence will not fire.

The fan is running fine and speed increases if pilot lighting swich is pushed.

Anyone got any ideas of where I can check to find out what is wrong?

Thanks in advance
Ian

Thats a very old boiler for heating your fish pond. A condensing boiler would be much better in terms of gas saving.

The pump may not be running! See FAQ on testing and freeing up if seized.
