Classic40
Hi,
I have recently drained my system down to add a new expansion vessel, I refilled and added cleanser (I have got inhibitor ready to add, just wanted to give it a bit of a clean).
I am planning to drain the system down at the weekend and adding inhibitor.
It's been making a really odd noise when powered up (Only lasts for around 10 seconds max) like air is trapped in the system.
I have vented all of the rads, the high points in the system with manual vents and the auto air vent is working correctly also.
The only other thing I can think to try is the pump, however it's not got a screw on it, its got what looks like a black plastic cover;

I will try and get a small video clip with the noise later on today.
EDIT; Forgot to say the boiler is an Ideal Classic FF340 with System Kit fitted on the top.
Any ideas?
