Air con, solar, heat pump?

Air source heat pump is only really financially sensible if the house already has an A (and up) rating as there is a massive outlay in cost for install.

The house needs to be able to retain heat well enough for it to make up the install cost and regain in its lifespan.


Or at least that's what I'm told by a friend of mine who specialises in such installs.
