im just going to do an oftec oil course just wondering has anyone done one and was it any good. would you be able to service and repair a range of boiler after the course?

The only thing you get from the oftec course is the title of "Technician".(Where is the tongue in cheek emoticon).
If you can read and write you will pass the assesment.
You will need to gain some practical and theoretical experience elsewhere!
