Oiled floor problem

Advice please! I had a new a pre-oiled oak floor laid. No problem until a finishing coat of Sadolin floor oil was applied a few weeks later. Since then people in the room for any period of time have suffered sore throats and eyes. Room has been well ventilated for 8 weeks now and problem not gone away. Sadolin have been helpful but not found anything wrong with the oil.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Stripping? Waxing?
Getting desperate now as the room is unusable!
