Ok for electrical socket to be positioned under kitchen sink?

I have a Franke 4 in 1 Omni tap, very useful for rinsing rice / cooking pasta and other items quicker.
How does it cook things quicker?

Does it have some other-universe powers to lower the specific heat of water?

So the only one which can take the place of a kettle for making tea.

No, you can quite easily make fine tea with 97.5 degree water with the 99% of other taps on the market. If you had any knowledge you would understand that you cannot make tea at 100 degrees because that is just steam! By the time your pour it out of the kettle it's already a few degrees less.

I have no idea how it works, my wife tells me it cooks quicker, she tells me it's something to do with less latent heat of evaporization and less steam rising up from pans. All I know is it keeps her happy.

If you put things in near-boiling water to boil them, they'll take less time than than if you put them in cold water and bring it to a boil.
