i see a white box and some pipes 
with baxi on the box??
u have to be abit more specific on what kind of heating system you are on? what u have system boiler combi. do u have a cylinder for the hot water? if so its a system. a combi is instant. ure hearing noises in the loft first think is to check for ghosts like they did on the exorcist!! or it could be pumping over caused by overheating
methinks an old wm and the stats gone 
genius!!!
the crystal ball is a lot better since i got BG in to powerflush it
