Old college books, do you keep them?

That is interesting, as it seems my parents house built 1954 did not comply with the 13th edition. As some lights were wall mounted. (mounted at such a height that they cannot readily be touched was not complied with) Looking at dates 12th edition would have been in force when it was built. It also seems reading what @flameport has said that homes wired before 1966 can't move off using filament lamps, I know my dad fitted a fluorescent unit in the kitchen which used a BA22d connector, with no earth, seems these were not permitted.

Not so dull, as it means homes still without earth wires to lights, must continue to use filament lamps.
