Hi, I'm not sure if anyone can help but i'm after some advice...
We bought a victorian house and we are doing it up room by room.
The current room we are doing had some picrure rail up and when this is removed it has revealed lots of loose plaster. There seems to be a very thin skim on top of thick grey plaster on top of the brick work.
I've started to pul the obviously loose stuff away but think that I am going to end up back at the brick on at least one full wall (front wall of the house) and large areas on other walls.
Should I remove all back to the brick work or just the seemingly loose bits?
The walls are pretty large and there may be a little issue in one corner around some damp (think it is from the old guttering - waiting for delivery of new long ladder to investigate, or possibly above?).
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
