Hi,
I purchased a house that was last renovated in (I think) the early 1970s and lifting the flooring revealed that the copper heating pipes were hung from the joists with what looked like pieces of (now rotten) cloth - leaving the large majority of the pipework unsupported.
I'm wondering what the best approach to take to mount them more securely; thoughts are:
Hang from the joist using strapping; plastic, plastic coated steel or copper? (Certainly the easiest from an access perspective)
Mount plastic (e.g.) Talon hinged clips on the underside of the joists?
Mount copper saddle clips underside of the joists?
Would love to get any advice/input, thanks in advance!
