I need to take down an old laugh ceiling in my kitchen, I know this job is not one of the nicest but I want to take some tips ie the best way to remove and cleanest ?

thank you

Seal off that room from the rest of the house if you can.....I used an air mover fan with 6" trunking out of the window. Believe me, there's no easy or clean method!
Dust mask / respirator is absolutely vital.
John :)

I removed a lathe and plaster ceiling in the kitchen of my old house. It was the most dirtiest, dustiest job I’ve ever undertaken. I should have listened to my plasterer mate who advised me to overboard and skim. When you do it, wear a mask, goggles, hat and a pair of those paper disposable decorator overalls!
