Hello.

I'm replacing an old light fitting in my ceiling with a new halogen set.
What I would like to know is how they connect up - The instructions assume I only have 3 wires (Blue, Green/Yellow, and Brown)to connect up.
In the old fitting I have the following cables, and wired in their seperate block:
Green/Yellow
Blue
Red
Black
Brown

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Djcopa
Which terminals were the the wires from the original lampholder connected to?

Thanks for the quick response - I've been offline since Saturday (gutted!).
I've sorted this out - Me being thick!
Just tooke the original fitting off, but did not disconnect the wires. Once wires disconnected, could see that the Blue and Brown where connected to the Red and Brown respectively.

Thanks anyhow.
