Hi all,

I have an older-style toilet in our new house, which has developed a crack (I think, when the vinyl fitters put it back, but I can't prove this). The soil pipe sinks into the floor. See photo.

To my surprise, I've found it hard to find a suitable replacement. I had figured that I'd just get another low-level non-closed couple set, and the connecting pipe would have enough leeway to allow for differences in position of the bowl.

However, when I enquired about the following: https://www.easybathrooms.com/claydon-low-level-traditional-toilet , I was told in store that "the soil pipe is too far forward, and the toilet would sit directly on top of it". Does this mean that the connecting pipe from cistern to bowl does not extend far enough for the bowl to be sufficiently in front of the waste pipe?

Another potential option is: https://www.bathroommountain.co.uk/...-low-level-cistern-and-soft-close-seat-c66036 However, would this have the same problem?

Any other solution - am I reduced to a back-to-wall modern style toilet, (which wouldn't really fit the room)?

Appreciate any help here - I've got elderly parents-in law expecting to stay, plus a newborn, so time is of the essence.

Thanks

Just need a longer flush pipe, not sure if you'll find one in chrome.

Thanks - so both the above options can be made to work - and the staff member is telling me 'no' because it wont work without an additional longer flush pipe (which presumably is reasonably inexpensive and our plumber would be happy to fit)?

Yes, I think so. Again, I don't know if you'll find a long chrome one, but you can get extensions, if they fit obviously.
