OMG absolutely besides myself. Doing Reveille this morning at 6am and I have dropped my best ceremonial Bugle on my new drive. I stripped my old colours off the bugle to replace them so never had it hanging over my shoulder. I wear white cotton gloves as I have a silver Bugle and careful not to get any finger prints on it. This Bugle is my pride and joy and I only ever use it for full ceremonial work but this morning I used it for Reveille as I couldn't find my old Bugle. ~Absolutely gutted and distraught.

My neighbours rely on me calling Reveille every morning at 6am. They love it and lots have said they love waking up to me every morning and is so much better than an iphone ring tone to get them up.

Do you do the Last Post as well?

As long as it didn't actually do its job - and wake me up, I'd appreciate an audible Reveille.

You need an input from Repair Shop's silversmith Brenton West. He has form:

Their musical instrument guy is good too.

I play the last post at funerals and at cenotaph's on rememberence sunday. I play a version of Reveille each morning to my neighbours which is usual to play after the last post, I play Rouse to keep in practice. I play every single day and is a big part of me and who I am. My bugle is what I live for.

FFS don't tell the cherry picker.
I always treat them the same. I often play my Bugle in the cherry picker as I don't disturb anyone but I don't tell either of them that is the reason, I can do without either of them sulking.
