OMG one of my dog's has got dementia.

OMG we took Brian to the vets today as he has been acting quite strange lately. In a world of his own and he often seemed confused. He didn't really seem to know us at times and he didn't seem to know his brothers, Horatio & Stalin either. We had blood tests done on him a few days go and the results are that he has dementia, OMG.

I lost my dog Tilly last October, it was so horrible.

They are Toy Poodles, not aggresive dogs but it is very sad to see, they are both 16 now so we expected things to go wrong now but this was really out of the blue. Sorry to hear of Tilly passing, it is heart breaking losing them.

Poor Brian, we have to put a nappy on him in case he doesn’t realise he is outside and goes to the toilet in the house.

That’s sad to hear. We think our Susie had a bit of dementia towards the end - she was having us up all times throughout the night to go outside and when she got outside, she just stood still as if she had forgotten what she wanted to go out for.

That is like Brian, it is like having a newborn. It is really sad to see as he is my best pal.
