Has an electrician come to fix a job that the previous electrician didnt do correctly. Problem is he hacked away at the walls.

Can I fix this myself with one coat plaster or do I need to get a plaster back in ?

I am not an expert in plastering. Not sure if this is easy or not. Dont mind getting my hands dirty.

One coat will deal with about 20mm depths, any deeper than that it will require a couple of applications. One coat does allow for slight sanding, so if you require an even finish it will sand.
Alternative is a bonding coat and skim or easifill.
