    Hi all,

I'm replacing the windows of my 1897 Victorian terrace. Photo attached.

I want to give the front a modern fresh feel. I'm thinking grey casement with a single glass panel which will open from the bottom.

I haven't seen any Victorian house with a single glass panel.. They always have two panels as mine currently has.

Anyone seen this before or have any suggestions or photos?

    Thanks

the house in the picture is not a terrace.

You have a Victorian house and want to make it look modern?

    Vandal.

It's easier to say terrace.. no one believes me or just get confused when I say Victorian detached..

Secondly.. We live in a modern time.. the house needs to fit my needs, not the other way around!

hard to be a vandal when the windows are already upvc...

bedroom windows look like they don't comply with egress.

Why not have vertical sliders in grey foil?

    Or flush upvc 'timber alternative'

I don't really like the line across the middle of the window. Wondering if a single glass panel will look good.
