Hi ya, can anyone help me? I had my ch boiler upgraded last summer to a combi, but didnt up grade the last three old radiators in my home. So i turned the heating off for the summer, but didnt turn off the radiators. (I never do).

Realised we werent getting the heat wave we were promised this year so i put the heating back on this week. The problem is all the radiators are working except of a large double radiator in the dining room. It is completely cold, and so are the pipes going into it on both sides. There is a thermostat control on one side, which is on full. Ever other one is roasting. Thought it might be an air problem and tried to vent it, but its so old the key just keeps spinning. Any ideas?? Fi :)

Two problems - try a search as they have been covered well.
1) TRV stuck - the pin inside should bounce up and down
2) Worn bleed screw - file down your key as though its been in a pencil sharpener. I have apic I think...
remove the red bit...
