Opening a Vista Movie Maker file on XP

Hi, I have been sent several Movie Maker files that I cannot open. Today I discovered that the person sending then is using Vista while I have XP.

Can any one help! Is it possible for me to open such a file when I do not have Vista myself?

Any suggestions most grateful!
