New Laptop - doesn't like my printer or other hardware!!

any recommendations on what to replace it with!

just need it for the kids homework really and the odd photo so i can't justify spending 100's on it!!!!

I am in the IT trade and I have found Canon printers to be superb!

I have an IP4300. It does printing direct to CDs, duplex (prints on both sides of the page). It has 5 seperate inks (Photo Black, Black, and the three colours) and also seperate printing head. The inks are fairly cheap in comparsion - about £8-10 each. It also prints a borderless full A4 photo quality picture in about 1-2mins.

All for about £60. Bargin!

There are bigger ones which also include scanner/photocopier functions also.
