As part of my garage conversion i am planning on fitting internal bifold doors which will go between the dining room and the newly converted garage
The dimensions for the bifold doors will be 3000mm width x 2100 height approx
There will be approx 500mm or so of brickwork to the left side of the wall remaining so I could place the rsj/lintel above this
For reference the rsj/lintel will be placed just above the existing lintel which you can see above the door, of course that will be removed and the new one installed
It is a single skin breeze block wall, could i install a lintel? Or would i need an rsj? And will calculations be required?
