Hi I have a metal tool cabinet and a couple of the brackets holding the wheels on broke, so I took them off and framed the underside perimeter with 3x2 cls, now left with the caster that have a m8 threaded rod and I thought get some of the threaded sockets to screw the wheels back on, like these https://www.screwfix.com/p/suki-drill-in-threaded-socket-m8-x-12-5mm-4-pack/516gx, any better ideas, only other option bar buying new screw on wheels is a connector nut onto the wheel and threaded rod through the bottom at the cabinet and then a washer and bolt
Thanks

The leverage against those fixings from a heavy tool cab if the wheel hits an obstruction will soon rip them out.
Better to buy a set of flat plate mounting castors to screw to your 3x2.
