Hello can anyone offer me an idiots guide of how to move a PIR from kitchen to utility which is 8" through other side of wall.
Would simply putting in customer code to put panel into day mode be enough to stop tamper sounding when I open Pir? Or do I need to enter an engineer code? Thanks in advance. Dean.

take off pir lid alarm sounds ( if there is a tamper loop) enter code. alarm panel will show tamper disconnect wires ( dont short + and - or you will need a 1.6 amp fuse) move cable and refix in new room rewire as before put lid back on pir , go to panel press reset all should be clear walk test device.

Tip. Snip off the end of the power wire so you can't short it out.
