I have built a large double garage...timber frame and sheathed in 12mm OSB3...now I have discovered from an American friend that the OSB should be "gapped"
(1/16" to 1/8") between sheets to allow for expansion!
How big a problem is it likely to be as I haven't done this?
The board was dry when it arrived and has been kept dry throughout the installation...now covered in Tyvek waiting to be clad, should I take off the Tyvek and cut some expansion gaps or should it be ok as is?
