Hi all,

Having problems with my heating system in my new house, which I have posted in another thread. My question here is, I have and OSO Indirect 20 RI water tank. There is a switch in the top right of the photo below. It has been off since I moved in. All I can find is that it is a 'Cable Entry' point. Does any body know what it does and should it be on?

Also, the pressure gauge shows this: (needle being the black one). Is this correct? Should the pressure be higher than this?

Not used to a central heating having just moved from a house with storage heaters.

Thanks.

top switch is to turn on electric immerser (use if htg is goosed)

turn black handle slowly to open and raise gauge pressure to 1.5 bar
