The outlet pipe running from my red expansion tank in my sealed system to the outside suddenly started to drip. The pressure guage on the expansion tank was at 5 bars (not sure if this is correct or not). I tested the release valve on the outlet pipe and the pressure reduced (didn't want to reduce it too much since I don't know what the correct pressure should be. What would be causing this drip. Any ideas?

You have a safety problem. The maximum pressure should only be 3 bar before the pressure relief valve goes. Your guage is incorrect or your pressure valve is faulty - either way you need to get this checked urgently.

Normal cold pressure should be around 1 bar.
