Outlook Express - Very very Slow

For what seems like no apparent reason, Outlook Express now takes minutes and minutes to open up on my pc.

Used to be perfectly fine and I'm not sure of any reason why this would have changed.

Any advice please?

Here,s a cure from Microsoft, it involves editing the registry so take care

Someone may know an easier repair. Sometimes compacting the folders can help found here

open outlook express go to file / folder / compact all folders

This is for XP by the way i cant remember if its the same in other versions of windows.
