outside light

Hi all
We've had one of those lamp post lights in it's box for over a year and now is finally the time to put it up.I have done the swa cable.It is only a 5 metre run.I have put the gland on the light fitting end.The cable will finish here.i am using 3 core.Can i just connect both earths from the swa to to the light fitting?.Is this ok.Thankyou.

1) Does it need an earth?

2) Is it designed to accept a CW gland for terminating SWA?
