Hi All

This is similar to the topic about weathersheild. I too have a pebbledashed house. This can be a nightmare as I re-rendered my chimney. I painted it with Homebase white. Is it possible to water these paints down as it is so thick and hard to work with around pebbledash.

Can you still get a whitewash??

Yes you can, unless you buy dulux which seems to be 'ready thinned' anyway
..but before you thin it, give it a good stir...you may find that this makes it thinner because it has whats known as 'false body' manufacturers add it to help it be more brushable..

Lots of people assume that cos a paint is 'thick' or jelly like it must be good and excellent at covering..its often not the case.

In my experience I have found the home brand paints pretty thin any way..
