Outside tap - from mains in kitchen, behind skirting

I’m looking to fit an outside tap in our back garden.

To avoid running a pipe outside, I’m thinking about taking a feed off the mains - which currently provides water to the fridge (first pic below)
Then running a pipe behind the skirting board or chasing the wall out (2nd pic)
Then outside to a tap.

Would this be ok? Or would it be against building regs / any other issues?

Best to sleeve the pipe as it goes through the wall, and do use check valves / isolators.
