Oven fan won't stop

I have a stoves DF110a Range cooker .
One of the ovens has a fan - problem is the fan is running constantly whether the oven is switched off or on.
Only way to stop it is to switch the oven onto auto/timed .

Oven works fine , heats up etc but then have to switch to auto to stop the fan.

Presumably this is some sort of sensor - any suggestions would be appreciated.

Which fan is running, is it the cooling fan above the oven or is the fan at the rear of the oven? Open the oven door and see if the fan in there is running. You can see it through the vents.
