hi recently unplugged my gas oven and reconnected it, i used soap to check for bubbles and there seems to be a real tiny leak... only 2-3 real tiny bubbles, is this somethin to be worried about?

I'm no expert, but I would of thought that any leak is not acceptable on a gas appliance.

Best get it checked out by an registered gas fitter

Unplug it & plug it back in a few times, it might be a bit of carp stopping it sealing. If it's still leaking after that get someone in to fix it.

Ideally you shouldn't use soap to check for leaks. A lot of gas cocks and quite often the seal in the centre of the bayonet fitting rely on gas cock grease to achieve a seal. Soap dissolves grease and can cause the seal to fail. Some soaps, particularly washing up liquid, can be quite corrosive as well.

As for worrying about a leak, any gas leak is bad. If you think you've got a leak you can call the gas emergency service on 0800 111 999. They will come out and check for you. If they find a leak they will not normally fix it but make the situation safe. This can mean isolating the gas supply to your property.

Got to give out transco friends a holiday somehow. :D

Didn't know they had gas in the states i thought everything was powered by V8s.
