Over batten a wall

I was looking at over battening and fixing plasterboard to existing plastered walls to conceal radiator pipes can this be done without using insulation or vapour barrier or will it cause problems with condensation etc.. Thanks

Yes , the wall is sealed so moisture cannot enter to condense on the pipework. Rad pipes are not as cold as cold water main so not a big source of condensation.
