Hi
I am just wondering if anybody know of some good links to show how to build an overlapping fence, I think I have a fair idea, as I am quite handy with diy, built my own kitchen and decking area, so I think I should be able to put the fence up.

My idea is to put posts in every 6ft and then three connecting post top, middle and bottom. Then attach the overlap boards.

It is going to be 2mtrs high. My question is really with the posts. How deep do I need to go if it is going to be 2mtrs high. The area we live used to be sand dunes so the soil is very sandy. Could I use spiked fencing supports or do I need to put them in concrete. And what dimensions do the post need to be, would 75by75mm (3incby3inc) be sufficient.

Many Thanks

Andrew
