Hi guys.
I have a small 'Sector' water heater at work and its stopped pumping out hot water. I have removed casing and it looks very basic inside but not any obvious places of error.
The small water tank is full, but when the tap is turned on, the mains feed is what comes out and the tank is not emptying at all.
Anything spring to mind?

The Sector is a small unvented water heater - tank will remain full as it's mains fed and under mains pressure.

If there is no heating taking place then there are a number of possibilities

1) Mains supply has failed - blown fuse or equivalent
2) Overheat stat has tripped out and needs to be reset
3) The stat/cut out has become dislodged from it's housing
4) Stat has failed
3) Element has failed

Basic testing equipment needed to test for voltage & continuity

I assume that this is an existing/old installation and all safety devices have been correctly fitted by competent person.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Its model number SWH7POU3.
Fuse is ok at the socket. There is a label on the front mentioning a thermal fuse but I am unable to locate either a reset switch or the fuse. It was installed by a plumber and has been working daily for 13 months now.

I think I will get the boss to call a plumber in. Thank you once again for your help :)
