Sometimes on DHW demand, a rattle occurs. AFter replacing the cheap non return plasticky valve it stops. I presume that's what he was talking about...........................

yes but it's not part of the diverter.

if it only rattles on hot water change the non return valve fitted on the front rh of plate ex
