Hi folks, we have vertical overlapping section of terracotta tiles (i think) on the front of the house under the 1st floor's bay window.
These look similar to roof tiles, they overlap vertically and so that the row above is offset by half a tile's width.
They are fixed by what look like headless nails that are then bent over, the side against the house ends in a disc which sits under the underlying row of tiles, going between a gap.
I'm just wondering what these things are called and what the procedure for putting them up is called as I want to replace a couple and need to find the parts.
They're quite thin, terracotta or stone like substance.
Any ideas?
