Cheers for that. Although I spent about 25yrs on site it was all on civils & r.c. frame flats/offices etc so house construction is a bit of blank spot!
There wont be a problem with the oversite being lower than adjacent ground levels if the oversite is permeable. Concrete will hold surface water, so is normally required to be higher than adjacent ground
